It is actually very easy to get locked out of your iPhone. One of the main reasons why you may get locked out of your iPhone is if you forget your iPhone passcode or enter the wrong passcode too many times. Fortunately, there are some things that you can do to get back into your device regardless of the reason why you were locked out.

Let’s begin with some of the reasons why you may be locked out of your device.

Why Am I Locked Out of My Phone?

The main reason why your device is locked is that Apple is trying to protect the data on your device from falling into the wrong hands. By creating Find my iPhone and Activation Lock, Apple’s main aim is to protect the data on your device if the device is stolen or lost. When these two are set up on your iPhone, anyone with the device will not be able to erase or use the device without your Apple ID and password.

But sometimes, these same security measures can lock you out of your device. The following solutions are aimed at helping you gain access to your device if you get locked out of your device.

Unlock Disabled, Screen Passcode Locked or Activation Locked iPhone Using UnlockGo

If you have forgotten the iPhone’s passcode, entered the wrong passcode too many times that now the device is disabled or if you have a device that is Activation locked, iToolab UnlockGo is the best tool to help you out. This iOS unlocking tool can help you gain access back on to the device regardless of the reason you were locked out.

The following are some of its features:

    • It is one of the best ways to fix a disabled iPhone or iPad without using iCloud or iTunes.

Follow these simple steps to use this program to unlock your iPhone:

Step 1: Install UnlockGo on to your computer. Run the program and then connect the device to the computer.

Step 2: Once the program detects the device, click on “Unlock Screen Passcode” in the main window to begin the process.

Step 1: Turn on the device.

Step 2: Go to https://www.icloud.com/find and sign in with your Apple ID and password. If you’ve forgotten your Apple ID or password, you can go to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid to recover it.

Prevent iPhone Lockouts in the Future

The easiest way to prevent getting locked out if your device again is to use biometric features like Touch ID and Face ID rather than a passcode. With these, it is much easier to access the device and you are unlikely to find yourself in a situation where your child is playing with the device and they enter the wrong passcode too many times.

If you must use a passcode, it is important to choose something that is easy to remember. It is also a good idea to store the passcode in a password manager to make it easy to access them if you forget.
